PACBIC is made up of organizational members who represent specific areas on campus, and individual members who bring their interest and expertise to the committee.  Please note, however, that PACBIC meetings are open to the entire University community and non-members are encouraged to attend and/or participate in one of the working groups. You can find our meeting schedule, minutes and agenda by visiting our Meetings page

A message from the PACBIC Priorities and Planning Committee:

Dear faculty, staff and students,

I hope you are well and thriving as best you can amidst all the current pressures of this world.

On behalf of the PACBIC Priorities and Planning Committee we are inviting nominations or self-nominations for membership and for the Staff Co-Chair and Faculty Co-Chair positions.

Unfortunately due to the pandemic and the recommendations from the Equity and Inclusion External Review (see page 6) conducted in the fall of 2022, PACBIC has been on a bit of a hiatus for the past two years. But now more than ever we need safe spaces such as that provided by PACBIC for our McMaster members to share and be supported by each other. So, we would like to revitalize PACBIC and have at least two meetings before the end of the academic year.

Please complete the PACBIC Nomination form (self-nominations are allowed) and submit by end of day on Monday March 4, 2024.

We look forward to welcoming all new members and our stalwart members back at our first meeting that will be scheduled in March.

If you have any questions, please email pacbic@mcmaster.ca.

Best regards
PACBIC Priorities and Planning Committee
